Right to cancellation

You are entitled to cancel this sales contract within a period of fourteen days without giving reasons.

The cancellation period of fourteen days is calculated from the date on which you or a named third party representative who is not the carrier takes physical possession of the goods.

In order to exercise your right to cancellation, you must give notice by means of a clear statement (such as a letter sent by post, a telefax or e-mail) declaring your decision to cancel this sales contract.

The cancellation period shall be deemed to have been complied with if the communication of your decision to exercise your right of cancellation is sent before the end of the cancellation period.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we are obliged immediately and at the latest within a period of fourteen days from the date on which we receive your notice of cancellation of this contract to reimburse all payments which we have received from you, including shipping costs (but excluding additional costs arising from your choice of a method of delivery other than the lowest price standard delivery offered by us). This reimbursement will be made using the same payment method that you used when you made the original payment transaction unless a different method is expressly agreed with you, but in any case, no fees will be charged for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until such time as we are in receipt of the returned goods or you have furnished us with proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You are obliged to return or hand over the goods to us immediately or at any event within fourteen days at the latest from the date on which you gave notice of your cancellation of this contract. Returns are to be made to the following address:

The return period shall be deemed to have been complied with if you have returned the goods within fourteen days. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Amongst other things, we have detailed below which websites are covered by this privacy policy, what data we collect, process and use, and your access rights. So that we can answer your questions quickly and effectively, we have set out our privacy policy in a question and answer format.

Which websites are covered by this privacy policy?
This privacy policy covers the use of the websites (hereinafter referred to as "animonda websites") published by animonda petcare gmbh and/or its subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as "animonda"). This privacy policy does not cover websites of other service providers whose links appear on animonda websites.

What are personal data?
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person about their personal or factual circumstances. Will my use of animonda websites remain anonymous? 
Yes. You remain anonymous when using the animonda websites as long as you do not voluntarily provide us with personal data. The only exception to this rule is the temporary automatic collection and storage of your IP address. See details on IP addresses below.

Are personal data automatically collected and processed? 
Yes. We automatically collect information each time you visit our websites about which IP address is assigned to your computer, which browser and which operating system you use, and which websites you have viewed. These data are stored in log files on a web server. The IP address is the only personal data stored. In order to protect our computer systems against misuse, it is necessary to store the IP address of each visitor temporarily. animonda takes the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from loss or misuse. We would like to point out, however, that the confidentiality of any information you include when contacting animonda by e-mail cannot be guaranteed. E-mail content – in much the same way as what is written on the back of a postcard – can be seen by third parties. We therefore recommend that you send us confidential information by post only.

Do I have access rights to my stored personal data?
Yes. Upon request, we are happy to advise you whether your personal data have been stored by us, and what exactly has been stored. Please contact the relevant office mentioned below should you wish to receive this information.

Can my personal data be changed, and when is my data deleted?
If you would like to change or delete your personal data, simply contact the relevant office mentioned below. As a matter of principle, we delete your personal data as soon as it has been used for the purpose for which it was originally stored. We would like to point out, however, that due to statutory retention and accounting requirements, we may not be in a position to delete your data yet. In such cases, however, you are entitled to block the data.
